They look like props. They would fold up and follow the contour of the galley hatch.

If you look close you will see a light cord or wire running to each prop. You would probably raise the hatch with one hand and pull the center of the cord with your free hand which would lift the prop rods to the contour of the hatch and then close the lid.

I love the '55-'56 Ford two-door wagons, prettiest they ever made! Can't you just see that one hitched to the front of a newly-minted CabinCar or a "woody-ized" Wild Goose ... ...?

No doubt, it's probably worth it, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head 'round the $40K price tag, though ... ...

IF I had it, you can bet it'd be in my "garage" this weekend ... ...!

Ya know, they tell you that Workers' Comp is there to help the injured worker, but it's really there to shield the employer, make the injured worker look like some kind of scam artist, and line the pockets of the insurance company ... you have to sue them to get what is rightfully & legally yours, and just hope you don't die or end up in a wheelchair before they fess up & pony up to the legally binding agreement they made with you in a court of law. Real nice legal and workmans' compensation system we've allowed 'em to forge, eh what ... ...?

It was 2 weeks before I ever saw a doctor and I had to get a lawyer to even get that far when I blew mine out!
No matter what happens just keep in mind that they don't give a $hit about you and are definitely not looking out for your health and well being, they will do everything in their power to not have to pay out anything at all.
If they are already giving you that much trouble you need to talk to a lawyer now!!! if you haven't already. That is the only way to protect your rights with the comp companies now a days!
Try not to make it any worse by being stubborn Grant, I shoulda thought of that myself a long time ago

Grant by the way, have you by chance heard of a Tens Unit? I have one of them for giving some relief on back aches. And Ive had enough of my share.

The Tens unit is a small mobile phone size electrical box with wires that are hooked up to 2 inch diameter electrodes that are set above and below the area of pain. and you have seperate dials to set the amount of electrical impulse as well as the beat of it.

It works for many however its not 100 percent.
It does give relief to your backaches though. At least it would be worth a try. Also you can wear it unoticed.
