Please keep me in mind when you see super deals on the above items or when you have one to sell. I hate to pay retail EVER. (funny coming from an ex-retail buyer).

Where do you live?

I have a slightly used SUV tent and an unused EZ-up but probably don't want to ship. The EZ-up is heavy!

Check out this sale at Cabela's -- an SUV tent and EZ-up are on sale.

Shipping could get spendy, though.

I'm fond of Amazon.com for "Free Super Saver Shipping."

Wish I had posted this last week. Neighbors were in DC until yesterday for Naval graduation. I am in St. Louis so shipping would suck. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

Any idea on what kind/size SUV tent and what you would consider a good deal?

On an SUV tent. I hate to say I don't know enough about them to say. I have a minivan. I don't know how much I'll use it, but want to give it a try to make camping more comfortable for my whole family. Just thought if someone had an unused one I'd try it. Thank you for replying and sorry for my delay in response.

I looked long and hard at the SUV tents myself (I also have a minivan), but quickly realized they were extremely overpriced for what they are. I was able to get one of the easy-up canopies, solid and screen side walls, and a very big 12'x14'x80" Coleman dome tent all for less than half of what a new SUV tent costs and my tent is much bigger. And I can also connect them all by way of the canopy walls fairly nicely.

Just a thought. I have to admit that I really like the idea of a SUV tent, but they're just ridiculously expensive (IMHO).
