Wanted: Aliner or Chalet (Found!)

Postby cs_whypt2 » Wed Jun 03, 2009 4:03 pm

I am looking to buying an Aliner. What I really have my eyes on is an Aliner Freedom Truck Cabin. I am interested in an Aliner or a Chalet.
If anyone is selling one on this fourm (probably not) or knows any one selling one, I would be interested.

Thanks,
Dianne

Thanks Tim.
That is 922 miles away from my house, but only 442 miles away from Minden. I might detour (yep, 500 miles) and tlak to the woman about it. I have been talking to her on the computer...but she does not like to respond to me quickly, so I was trying to see if there was a different one for sale.

Dianne

Thats real great, except I am trying to stay away from tarp. Secondly...do you see those little twigs that are holding up the fold out beds on that??? I doubt that will support me!!

I am just going to wait for the woman to come down on price.

Would this be an option of choice? Quicksilver has a slide in camper for a pickup and its very similar to their tow campers.

I think she wanted to avoid canvas.

In my searching for camping solutions, I did find a something similar to an Aliner slide-in, but it had a lot less features (basically just a bed). He was towing it around on a utility trailer instead of in a pickup. I can't remember if it was on eBay or Craigs List. I'll search and post a link if I can find it. It didn't seem to be at high price, because I was interested in it for a while...

Found it, but the auction successfully ended. Here's the link in case you're interested in looking at it or searching for that name in the future:

eBay Link

It's a 1991 Snoozer II and is all hardshell like the Aliners.

I had been looking at these for a couple years, and they are really cool. But I am trying to stay away from tarp.
Thanks, though!
