$2000.00 and no galley??? 1 window that doesn't open?? Maybe I'm too pickey, or just spoiled by my galley and 2 doors and windows that open. My guess is that it won't go for that price.

I would be concerned about ventilation. You would have to steer clear of any areas that get luke warm, warm or hot. I have two doors, two windows that open and roof ventilation and it gets hot.

oh well. Good luck, but $2K without the above mentioned amenities may be tough with this group. Not questioning the quality of the build in any way, it looks fine.

I sold mine for $5k and it didnt have a galley but it did have two doors and windows that opened. Mine was insulated to beat heck and was always cooler inside than outside. I even slept in it at -22 degrees and stayed comfortable without any sources of heat.

It wasn't me who bought it, but you all have to realize that not everyone wants a galley and camps in a warm climate. I'm torn on whether or not I want a galley since that would allow me to get a smaller overall tear and yet have a bigger sleeping area.

After spending some cold enough (34-degrees) nights in a tent while camping with the kids, I think I would've gladly traded $2,000 for something with windows that didn't open....haha. I still feel the one window should open, but you could always do a screen curtain over the doorway and open the roof vent to get some air going through it. That's a lot cheaper than buying a new opening window and installing another in the door.

Actually, that thing is just screaming for hitch installed petcool with a couple of duct holes cut in the front and then hidden behind a bigger hitch box.

It really all depends on where/when you camp. I live in Florida, but like to avoid the hot seasons for camping, and because I live in North Florida, it gets pretty cold in the late Fall, Winter, and early Spring. My kids were miserable the last time we camped in low-30-degree weather, and that was in APRIL in FLORIDA. The high was 78 degrees! How the heck do you pack clothes for that kind of camping trip? Haha.

I totally agree. I don't have an outside galley right now and am perfectly happy.

I've tried all configurations, sink, stove, Ice box, storage and found that all I do in a galley is store junk and boil water (coffee).

2 Rubbermaid containers, a stove on the Picnic table a cooler under it and I'm happy. No leaks, no bumps on the head, no banged shins.

Hi Everyone,

The trailer is mine. Thank you for your encouragement. Hopefully it will sell soon.

I bought the trailer on eBay for $1550, drove 400 miles to pick it up and bought a battery that I'll include. I posted the trailer for $1,950 OBO. Basically the best offer is about $1,800, which is what I've changed my Craigslist listing to.

I can't disagree with the concerns that were raised. I too wish the window would open, etc. In hindsight, I think the builder would have made the changes some of you suggested. He's learning. The trailer is well-built. I would have never believed it wasn't manufactured.

You can look at the top page you posted on the forum ( VERY TOP Post ) and click on the EDIT where you posted the TITLE and add -SOLD to the title field. You can do that on any post you do. If you are not sure if you understand how just PM one of the Administrator's.
