90% complete benroy

Postby xjman4 » Fri Jul 10, 2009 8:09 pm

Hey guys i have a benroy that needs doors and a hatch installed. All the rest is built. I used only the very best wood and all screws so it will last longer. There is not one single nail in it, it has insulation to keep warm and it was built using a frame and two pieces of wood on either side not the cheap one piece plywood trick. It is on a brand new 4X8 trailer. This is a 4X8 benroy. I have over a thousand dollars in receipts that i will give to the new owner. If you are interested please tell me and i will email pictures. I can be reached at (775) 220-3844

i am ASKING $1,200. I just need the money very badly for college loans.

for pictures look in my album :D

Send them to yourself and then put them in your album and post here.

 how to offend builders and potential buyers on a teardrop forum! many of whom have used the "cheap one piece plywood trick" ....mmm I think I saw that at a Las Vegas casino back in the 70's

Not just "This Thread"...pretty much all threads posted in the For Sale forum. A picture is worth a thousand words and most teardrops are sold for more than a thousand dollars. I'm semi-actively shopping for a teardrop, but I can definitely tell you that I won't spend thousands of dollars (and likely travel hundreds of miles) to get a teardrop without seeing MANY photos of it first.

The moderators/admins here might want to consider making photos a requirement for this forum section. A popular camera forum that I frequent requires photos of everything posted for sale or the post is deleted. Tears usually go for a lot more than most of the camera equipment sold there. Just a suggestion. I'm still a relative newbie here, so I don't mean to stomp around demanding changes or offending the long-timers or mods/admins.

Chris....I don't think anyone ever thought about making a photo mandatory on the for sale section, largely because it's common sense. I'd agree with you however, I wouldn't even think twice on a tear that hasn't got some pics up for viewing.

xjman4....you really ought to post them if you want any potential action. Do what'cha want though. Doug
