SOLD!! :woohoo:

2007 5'x10' homemade Teardrop camper for sale in Tampa, FL. Camper has 2 doors with crank windows that have smoke-mirror privacy film on them, along with Levelor mini blinds (curtains are gone). Roof rack with that holds new spare tire. All electric with an A/C that has a remote. 2 cabinets inside - one is full size, the other is small which I hide the portable DVD player and wires in (not showing in the picture...added after the pic). There is a deep storage compartment the width of the camper in the front - good for towels, electric cords, blender, etc. Lots of lighting including 2 mini florescent lights on each bed side. 2 marine fold down cup/bottle holder on each bed side. Queen size mattress fits great inside and 2 can sleep comfortably. Galley has Rubbermaid storage drawers to store all camping supplies, plus some. Large counter in galley. Galley hatch is heavy and has some recent water damage that is not visible on the outside, just when you open the hatch, near the handle. Does not leak but recent rains did seep in at the bottom of the hatch near the handle. Included is a 4'x5' PVC privacy room that I built, along with the curtain, for those late night potty calls. Camper pulls great! 2" ball and 4 flat plug. You will get a lot of attention with this sweet little campers, especially at the campgrounds. All accessories, including cooking, camping, sleeping, foam mattress are NOT included - only what I listed. You will enjoy this camper. Can deliver locally.

... and so the transition begins for Becca. Good luck with this sell as the luck will certainly be a two way street with whoever the fortunate buyer is. It's a wonderful teardrop.

Thanks Scott. I'll be sad to see her go but you're right - the new journey begins. ;)

This is a great camper, I've seen it many times. Hopefully a new owner will join us at a teardrop and tiny trailer gathering soon. Good luck with the sale Becca, (I think you are very generous to offer it at this price)

Thanks Stevie for the kind words. It will be strange not to go to a gathering without our Tears.

Hey how 'bout that? I didn't know Nancy Kerrigan was on this forum?

(Okay, back to the serious business of finding a new home for this teardrop.)

Becca,

I've posted your sale info on the Honda Element forum. I started a teardrop thread there that has gotten over 70,000 hits.

Whoever snags it is going to be fortunate. It'd be a wonderful debut in teardropdom.

Good luck!

Hiker Chick:
Thank you!!!! That was cool of you to do.

I posted it on Craigslist yesterday and got the flyers made and the "For Sale" sign ready to display. I'm going to park it in the K-Mart parking lot that runs along the main Highway for a few hours this weekend. It will stay attached to my truck - not going to leave it there. Then I'm going to park it in the Wal-Mart parking lot next weekend. I just want to keep the "Ad" expense as low as possible. If this doesn't get any attention, I'll run it in the local paper. I'll let you know if I get any inquiries from your forum.

You're welcome. It's also a service to E-ple.

;)

Do you know how much your teardrop weighs?

Roughly?

Elements are rated for 1500-lb tow capacity. (4-cylinder engine)

I honestly don't know but I don't think it's 1500 lbs. I'm going to see if they will let me weigh it at the landfill this weekend and get back to you. I'm guessing it's around 1200-1300 but I have been known to be wrong on guessing weight.

For some reason I am having trouble getting my ad on Craigslist. I thought it went through yesterday after "error on page" displayed 17 times, then it said "done" but it hasn't. I tried doing it again today and I get the same problem, "error on page". I am using an older version of Internet Explorer and that might be the problem. Can someone help me with this? I can send you the add and give you the info you need to post it from my Craigslist account. I would have to send you the 4 pictures I want to post also.

I'm gonna post this on the "I won a Scotty" thread also.
