Well, IF it is not yours and or, you did not build it, then why post it here in the members for sale forum?

Probably because some member here (like ME) might want it! I'm in Colorado, and if we were still looking I'd be so thankful for this posting.

Plus, it gives great ideas to people building to see other trailers around the country.

Pretty unique pop up... I wonder how much it weighs?

Its not that uncommon for people to post an item for sale even if it isnt theirs. It helps others locate something they might have dreamed of or even inspire others to build one of their own. So in other words, lighten up

Why not post ebay listings in general discussion forum? and leave this forum for member sales.

Sounds like this thread got started on the wrong track.

I've seen many threads that start off with:

I saw this great looking trailer on ebay, can someone here use it? It's not mine, but I thought I'd share!!!

I don't know which forum these are typically posted on. Should we have a forum just for this kind of stuff? You guys tell me...

My take is that if it is "For Sale" or a "Wanted" item that this is the place where most people will look!!

I personally have no problem with ebay, craigslist, or whatever items as long as there are teardrop or TTT items.

BTW: I do NOT recall the work "Members" in the forum title!

I completely agree. This is the perfect place for a post like this.

This is the "For Sale/Wanted" section.

I see no problem with this type of post(in this forum). It's been done before, and it's informative. Some people don't cruise eBay or Craigslist and this may be helpful to them.

Thanks for the post, Jason.

Another forum I'm on has a separate area for "Member's trailers FS" and "Referrals" (where people post sightings on Craigslist, eBay and the like). The idea was to draw special attention to the member's listings.

Either way works for me though.

Well, I stated my position. Obviously, it is what ever the majority wants. Just leave it as is I guess.

I like seeing these kind of posts, and I have posted similar links myself.

They are informative, helpful and amusing at times.

Danny, did you ever think that maybe your 'cannedham' is over priced and that's why it's not selling. It's not because of outside listings. Maybe it's time to reach out to a larger market like Ebay and/or Craigslist.
