I can help out here on this one. Mike's real name is William, I think Mike is his middle name and he prefers to be called Mike. We used both of these names when he ordered his trailer, Mike in correspondence and William on the paperwork.
Nothing fishy here, there is a legitimate deal. I talked to Mike's wife Cindy on the phone about this. They do need to sell this trailer for Mike's medical reasons. I hope some one snags this basically brand new 560 soon for their sake. Two nicer people would be hard to find. I come to know Mike pretty good, heck of a guy.
A good point about legitimate Ebay postings was brought up though. Some time back one of our CA customers sold his 550 on Ebay. I believe the new owner is a regular here on the forum. Anyways a short time later I was contacted by fellow in England who was asking questions about a 550 he was buying. Bought it off of Ebay UK from a fellow in France I think it was. I was puzzled because we never sold one to someone in France so asked him to send me the Ebay listing. It was the same listing as the CA 550 just tweaked a bit and relisted by someone else on Ebay UK. Same pictures and everything. I let the guy know that there was something seriously fishy about it filling him in on the details of what I saw on the listing. He said he sent a deposit already and was going to meet the guy to pick it up on the weekend. At this point he was pretty panicky and thought he had been ripped off. Ended up never hearing from him again, even when I tried contacting him. I suspect he was too upset about having been ripped off to say anything.
This is why it makes sense to ask around about purchases like this. Please feel free to contact me about any questions on Mike's 560 if you like. I am glad to help.

Your response is greatly appreciated Cary - thanks. There were so many things that didn't add up - and two different names is a pretty big one. A low post count of "1" and no actual link to the Ebay listing but a direct number to call. Tooo much in todays climate to not raise eyebrows.
In the meantime, it does bring some real and actual concerns to light as your story of fraud demonstrates. Thanks for sharing that. But certainly the most important part of all this is the prayer that Mike returns to good health and can once again enjoy camping in the vision that he originally had with this purchase.
Camp Inn is a class act business and we are all glad that you're a part of this community.
