Hello,
I have an Aliner Freedom Truck Cabin for sale. I am asking $3,000 for it, but for the board, I am flexable, so best offer will work!

I do not have a picture up yet, but I will add then when I get them. (Sorry, I know its all about the pics!)

Okay. I bought this camper on ebay this past summer. Traveled to get it, fixed it up, and used it this whole summer and loved every minute of it! I got lots of questions and people were interested in it.

This is a truck cabin that sits flat you the bed of your truck (I had it is my 96' Dodge Dakota, 6 foot bed and there was wiggle room.) Then, when you get to a camp ground, it pops up into a A-frame camper. (Like the signature Aliner look.)

The unit weighs about 500 pounds. It did not effect my gas mileage when I had it in my truck, and since I had no place to store it, it stayed in the bed of my truck.

On the inside, there is a doubleish bed and an ice box. There are two counters to put your stuff on. There is a sky light / tinted window and a vent. There is a light that I never used and a heater, which I did not use and really dont recomend using because I dont trust the propane tank that goes along with te camper. The bed transforms from a bed to a dinning area. It is a 'U' shape sitting area with a table.

Storage underneath the bed. I cleaned this camper up as best I could. I had to throw out the original padding that was in the camper due to at-the-time-of-purcahse bug issues. I got new foam from a fabric store and I have that rapped in cloth.

I love this camper. Problem is, this past week my Dakota was giving me problems and it finally died on me, or it wouldn't start and I refused to put more money into it, so I got a newer Dakota, but the bed is a little different and it will not fit in te truck as well.

THere are no leaks in this trailer. I have had it up in wind and rain storms and I had no problems. The only thing is, I now have a different truck, (as of today, yay!) and it wont quit work for me.

Thanks for reading. If the camper dosen't sell, I will figure out a way for me to use it, so I am not too worried.

Thanks!
Dianne ;)

Hi Dianne, talk about good news - bad news. Glad you got a new truck. :applause: Sorry about the A-liner. :( We watched your excitement when you finally located one and bought it.

Good luck with the sale. Mounted on the proper truck, that's a nice way to go off road too.

Thanks.

I love the new truck. It has a matching cap, and for the first time ever I have power in my truck. The matching cap has power too. So for me to use the camper, I would have to disamntle the power, take the cap off and the bedliner, because this would crush the bedliner and then load it. But since I am not keeping it on my truck I have no plce to store it. And there is a little less woggle room on this new truck then there was in the old truck. On top of which, I didn't expect the truck to die quit yet, so the money would be nice. But if nothing happens to it, I can find a plce to put it and find a way to use it.

Thanks,
Dianne

Hi Dianne,
Congratulations on the new truck! Too bad it won't work. If anyone out there is looking for one of these, they're hard to find and hers is in great shape! I have seen her set it up alone in mere seconds and it's always a real attention getter. It really is a nice camper for the price as they are hard to find under $4,000.00. This will be a great deal for someone out there.

Place an ad with pictures on Craigslist here in the twin cities and I bet it will sell.

Okay,
I now have a couple pictures in my album. They are small, but at least they are pictures.

Thanks,
Dianne

Sounds like an instant tiny trailer for some lucky duck. Just add a trailer frame and you are done.

It only weighs 500 pounds so once you get it on wheels it is easy to move around. We needed it moved over a little bit in the back of my truck one time, my boy friend was able to move it slightly with no problems. It is not heavy, for a camper.

would be perfect for one of those HF 40x48 trailers, IMNVHO, but I'd want to upgrade to bigger wheels... it's a nice size for one person, that CabinA.

So I just went outside and got the dimensions.

Closest to cab is 39.5 inches wide.
Closest to tailgate is 52 inches wide.
Total length is 6 feet.
The thicker width is 20 inches long.
(It kind of makes a 'T')

Thanks,
Dianne
