Teardrop for sale in Ontario. Finally SOLD!!!!!

The time has come to part with our teardrop trailer and let someone else enjoy it. It has been stored in our garage the last few years now and never been out in the weather! I built this trailer about 5 years ago using information from this forum. The frame is all welded 3" square heavy wall structural tubing (very strong), the sides are 3/4" maple plywood finished in the inside and primed and painted on the outside with automotive paint. The roof and front is aluminum skinned. There is a aluminum diamond plate stone guard on the front and the tongue box. The rear has an aluminum door that opens for access to the storage compartment. All exterior lighting is LED. Brand new axle and springs (1500lbs) with new aluminum wheels and tires and wheeled tongue jack. The interior is 48" x 96" and has 2 storage shelves. The underside of the floor was undercoated before assembly. It is a very basic layout and not as detailed as some here in this forum but we wanted it plain and it was my first build. I can provide more details to someone who is serious.
Here is an opportunity for someone here in Ontario to get into a trailer for a fair price ( I think) $2500.00

Derek,
You've got a very nice trailer there. At the price you're asking, it should sell quickly. Are you going to build another?

Good luck on the sale,

Thanks for all the compliments, I'm not sure if I would build another, I enjoy the process alot just lack the knowledge, skills and patience to make something of calibre of the ones on this forum. I built this in 10 weeks so taking a long time to build one is not in my blood. I get started and GO until it's done.

I would love a Camp In teardrop!!!!!

I have had lots of people look at the ads here locally but no one is serious, it's just not something that is seen here alot. In my opinion teardrop trailers are perfect for camping, light, versatile and practical. Hauling around a trailer that is the same ammenities as your house IS NOT CAMPING!!!!!!

Derek

P.S. I'll probably suffer fallout from that last statement.

Well as I suspected after advertising our teardrop locally it looks like we will be keeping it for a while and wait till the warmer weather comes to Ontario. Most inquiries I got were just curiosity more then genuine interest. I have come to the conclusion that most people want all the luxuries to go camping?????? They are more concerned about air conditioning and where to point the satellite dish then being in the outdoors which what I thought camping was all about. Most people were disappointed that it only slept 2
I was hoping that if we sold it we would get a Camp In trailer that we saw used on here but I guess we will have to wait.

Well it finally got sold! We just posted it again locally and got ALOT of response. A couple purchased it to pull behind their 1941 Ford pick-up street rod. They will be repainting it to match so no more bright yellow.
My wife was upset that it got sold

Now what am I gonna do?????
