Hi all,
I'm new here... I've been searching & searching eBay for months and have been unable to find myself a trailer. I would glady accept any leads on trailers for sale.
I live in Illinois and would be willing to drive to nearby states if needed. No cross country trips in the near future for me!
I don't want/need any thing fancy.
I have emailed the craigslist owner with the checker flag Little Guy (still available) and hope to hear from INDYMATT regarding his.
Thanks for your help! Tim

I'm curious, what are you looking for?
How wide? What are you willing to spend? The
reason I ask, I look at the craigslist in wisconsin
because I live in northern IL. What part of IL are
you in?

in a perfect world i'd like to spend $2500 or less. i'm pretty flexible depending on what's available.
i drive a nissan frontier and my wife has a honda element... i'd like something light so i can pull the trailer with the honda.

Patience Grasshopper...
Even though you've been looking for months, you are still a newbie here, having just signed up on the 15th.
Your perfect trailer will come... Just keep an eye on the for sale section on the forum...
Another option is there are several people here on the forum who can build you an affordable trailer to your specifications, at the price you want.

i was looking at enclosed trailers today and i found a dealer with two 2006 little guys he never sold. he has a 5-wide "tailgater" and a rascal. i think the rascal would be too small for what i want. he said he would sell either trailer for his 2006 cost just to get rid of them.
so here's my question... if these have been on the lot for 3/4 years, don't you think he's take less than cost just to get them sold?
this is my first in person view of the little guy trailers... i liked the 5-wide trailer. i wish indymatt's trailer was a 5-w

Go in with cash in hand, ready to buy and tow away on the spot, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he'd take a loss just to free up the space for stuff he can turn over faster.
I'm thinking about that "someone on the forum can build one for you" option.....At least for the shell. I know I could do my own wiring etc, it's building the shell that I'm a little nervous about.

You can always ask for a lower price, just be prepared for a NO so things don't go sour and you walk away with nothing.

how risky would it be to purchase a trailer that has been sitting outside for that long? i was able to look inside the trailer and didn't see any obvious signs of water damage, etc. if there were any issues of that sort would they be obvious to the eye?
