I don't want to sound crass but has anyone ever seen a Trailer with documentation linking it to Boeing? The reason I ask is that I see around 5 a year claiming to be Boeing prototypes.

Yep, probably built by a Boeing mechanic with Wild Goose plans and stolen parts and pieces from Boeing. I know, stolen isn't the right word.

P.S. I've never even seen a teardrop with paper proving it was made with surplus WWII aircraft aluminum
