Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

My parents gave me this camera a few years ago, and its great, but I can do much more with photography using a digital camera that I got.

Its just been sitting in a bag in my closet, and I'm looking to get rid of it and put the money towards my teardrop build.

Its a 35mm Minolta Maxxum 5 in pristine condition. On the camera now is a 28-80mm Aspherical macro AF lens with Quantaray 55mm DMC-UV filter.
The camera works great, and shows absolutely no sign of use or abuse. It will require a new battery, because I removed it when I put it in my closet. I think a new battery for it should be a couple bucks. The manual for the camera is included. Here is a review.

Also included is an AutoFocus Sigma 70-300mm DL Macro Super lens with a Quantaray 58mm UV filter. Looking around, it seems like you could find this lens alone for around $100.

This all comes in a green Sigma camera bag with shoulder strap... nothing special, but it is a nice camera bag to hold the camera, and both lenses, comfortably and securely.

If you, or your children are taking a photgraphy class in college, this is a great camera! It does have manual focus, and TONS of features.







It really is a nice camera, I just don't use it. I'd like to get $100 for it, the 2 lenses, and the bag. If you have any questions, feel free to email me, or call!

Zach, I find myself in the same fix as you. Have really nice Pentax 35mm with autowinder & multitude of lenses & filters. I have considered getting a Pentax Digital SLR. All the bayonet fittings will work however, I wouldn't have the option of shooting on Auto but, I never did shoot auto on the 35mm so it wouldn't be a problem.

If Minolta makes a SLR that your lenses will fit, perhaps you could look into that...

I thought about that, but I have a pretty good digital camera... a Canon S3IS. Its not an SLR, but its got all of the features of one. Its basically a point and shoot on steroids.

Right now, I can't see spending $600+ on a DSLR. One day, but not today




Anyway... I am open to reasonable offers if anyone is interested in the camera. I'd rather see someone using it than it just sitting around. I'm sure someone out there still uses film!

Lens mounts and lens manufacturers

Interchangeable lenses for SLRs and DSLRs are built to operate correctly with a specific lens mount that is generally unique to each brand. I have the same camera. I think the lenses are supposed to work on some of the Sony DSLRs. I always liked this camera.
