Northeast Teardrop??

Postby snakeski » Sun May 23, 2010 6:15 pm

Sorry to just jump in here. I'm in the market for a teardrop and came across your forum. Seems like most everything I end up looking at is out west!

I'm looking for a lightweight, retro looking teardrop to pull behind my cobra replica

Looking to try to keep it under $5000 or so, unless its loaded up with goodies

Anyone have one Northeast of Pa. or so??????????????

Thanks guys!!!

within the last couple days I saw two Little Guy teardrops on craigslist. One was $2700. It may have been northwest ct craigslist, or western ma, or albany ny. try using craigshelper [has a different name now, but think it will come up using "craigshelper]. Might even been vt craigslist. bob

Kerry & snakeski: When I did a search of "craigshelper" it said that craigshelper is now searchtempest.com. There seems to be a couple different search sites for craigslist. We actually found our teardrop on craigslist. We plan on doing the Hemmings cruisein in Bennington VT tomorrow, and then the weekend at Emerald Lake, so if that's near you, snakeski, stop in and see us. Bob

We have weekend plans, otherwise it sounds fun!! The Hemmings cruise is on our list. They do several through the summer.

Maybe next time!

Thanks

Wayne: I know a guy that works on a banana freighter who would like it for his family in Honduras. Will you take a check from a bank in Brazil??  :R . On a serious note, what's happening in Delaware? Bob

OK, what is the trailer behind the teardrop? I'm trying to ID it.....

You people are as bad as I am in collecting trailers. My kids are asking what am I going to do with all the camping trailers (3) since I can only camp in one at a time. I guess there are some things they just don't understand.

Bob hook me up. I'm ready to deal.

The whats happening it Delaware is War birds over Delaware R/C model show. If your into giant scale war birds this is the place to be.

The trailer your asking about is a 1963 Shasta compact. I just finished removing all the paint yesterday. Now she is ready for a new paint scheme. Off white on the top with a light blue on the bottom. - Wayne

I guess snakeski wasn't interested. I didn't get a PM.

If any one else is interested the price will be $2300.00
I will post this on the for sale page soon.

The trip to Delaware was uneventful. The trailer ran absolutely perfect.
It towed like it wasn't even back there.

Hi Snakeski

All you have to do is click on the album lower left side of page and you will find the pics of the total rebuild of this trailer.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I also have it listed for sale under 1940s Modernistic/cub. - Wayne
