Teardrop on Ebay: no windows, no fan, one door, and no power

Not mine, but I have noticed that several teardrops don't have any windows or fantastic fans...and some with/without 12V power. I can't imagine buying one without windows or a fantastic fan.

Seller shows a TV in the teardrop, but later mentions that it was run off an extension cord while parked in his yard.

No air conditioner, no windows and no vent equals an oven in Texas. No, with it painted black it's more like a grill! :?

Put a side of ribs in it, I will bring some beer and we will have a party!

LOL, even if it is not hot outside, can you imagine closing yourself into that thing for the night?

And, sleeps two adults and a kid? Yeah, so all three of you can suck the air out of that tiny space.

And, it's a commercially made TD. :o http://www.theteardropcamper.com/TheTea ... lcome.html

So, you buy it, then add a couple of windows, and a galley hatch -- stuff that SHOULD already be on it. Not much of a bargain.

Notice how there really aren't too many pictures of the camper they build? Plus, why have pictures of other teardrops other people have built on you website? That seems confusing to me. And, I love how the "base price" includes a bunch of options...but you can order the stripped down model. It did say it might fit a child...depending on age.

I'd be more worried about running out of oxigen (sp) in the middle of the night. Also. did it have a galley hatch?? :?

It has what looks like a galley in the back, but there is no hatch. It is an open space, and there is an open space if the front. The owner posted on ebay that he just covers those areas up with tarps when it rains.

The pics on the manufacturers website and his for sale pics are identical, check the dogs laying around/under the tear, so it's not his tear pictured in his ad or he is the manufacturer. Somethin's up I'd be willing to bet. Could be that he had this great idea to build these little trailers and sell them as so many have and it didn't pan out for him, appears that he got cold feet right at the galley hatch point! Wimp! Doug

Maybe every TD they make comes with some dogs.

Well, the bidding is over, and someone won that teardrop for $1325.

But, there is another one on there with no windows, no fantastic fan, and no power that you can "buy now" for $2500.

This "no windows" practice sure takes the 1 door/ 2 door issue to a whole 'nother level.
