It looks like an old Apache pop up tent that is missing the canvas and tent frame. If someone could find the parts, it would make a classic rebuild. http://knoxville.craigslist.org/spo/1795884306.html

Apache

That isn't an Apache, as I own one. They were the Cadillac of pop-ups. They are hard sided when cranked up, both ends slid out, and then the pvc parts are opened up. They have no canvas on them.

A quick search on the internet shows that it is indeed an Apache tent trailer. My quess would be a 1962 Apache Chief. The Apache campers were popup tent trailers from 1960 thru 1969, after that they were hard side popups. Here is a picture of a 1962 model from the Apache Owners Club.

Thank you Dan, I knew it was an Apache anyways, it "was" the same model that my father has, and we drug that camper so many places, some that only a 4X4 should have gone. Thank you again
