For Sale $2300.00 Or best reasonable offer.
I will also consider a trade for a small sail boat. Like a Compact or WW potter. ?
I was told this trailer was from the 1940s when I bought it.
A Modernistic/cub I don't know for sure. It is now registered as a 2010 home built trailer.
If you go to my Album you can see all that has been done to it. I would say that 90 percent of it is now new.
The trailer just had it's maiden voyage down to Delaware from the Finger lakes region of NY. I'm not sure how many miles it was but it ran flawlessly.
The reason I'm selling my teardrops is I cant fit my family in them. And I just hate to see them sitting around unused.
So if your interested in the trailer or have any questions about it e-mail me. And we can go from there.

Why do people take the easy way out? A little research would have kept the value up.

I guess you don't remember but I asked you along with quite a few other knowledgeable people about this trailer. And no one could nail it down.
I did my research and came up empty.
So as far as taking the easy way out, I think not.
I guess I could have told the DMV what I thought it was. To keep the value up.
But not knowing the real year and make. I couldn't lie.
That also wouldn't be fare to who ever buys it. Thinking it's something it's not.
If you have any more information other than what I was told. That the trailer is from the 1940s? Looks like a Modernistic and came from Montana. Ill be more than happy to listen.

Wayne
PS Thanks for the bump

I had the same problem. Did a lot of research with no positive results. Nowhere on the frame/body of my Modernaire was there an identifiable number that could be used to verify the make and year of manufacture.

I inspected every inch of that tear as I worked on it as well as requested tips to try to find something to officially acceptable to the CA DMV. As a result my Modernaire is also registered as a SPCN. Does it hurt the value? I don't know, but anyone who is knowledgable about the Modernistics will recognize it for what it is.

Sorry Wayne, I was tired from driving all day. I shouldn't have made any post Monday night. I just wasn't thinking straight. And by the way, I think the price is very right. Good luck with the sale.
P.S. What's that in the background.

Thanks for the apology.
The trailer that's behind the one I have for sale is a 1963 Shasta compact
that I have striped of paint. Soon to be repainted.
This will be the new family trailer.
I placed a couple of pics in my album.
