Sleeper Teardrop for Sale in UK

This Sleeper was one of the first I sold when trading as Turtle Trailers. It was my own demo, used by me at bike and Trike Rallies. A bloke turned up with cash in his hand and desperate to buy, as he was going away that weekend. I told him he'd have to wait for the next one. He promised to bring me some beer if I'd sell him mine. He did just that. It was owned by a man I met once at the time of purchase, who became a very very close friend over time. This Sleeper has appeared all over the UK, and in various bike magazines rally shots.
It originally had the marine ply floor which I swapped for the newer fibreglass honey comb bond floor as a thank you to all the advertising he did for me.
It will be at my address until sold. Sadly it has come back to me to sell as my friend passed away earlier this year. His son was unable to contact me about Barry's admission to Hospital, or the details of the funeral in time for me to see Barry or attend the funeral. I have only just found out.
I am selling on behalf of his family. Money raised will be used to run his ashes up to the Northern most Bike/Trike Rally, The Simmer Dim, on the longest day of Summer in the Shetlands where we will scatter his ashes.
I will not be taking any silly offers. I have to go across and collect the Sleeper. Remove the sign writing graphics that he had on for my advertising. Polish and service it, check wheel bearings etc, then I will add details of price and condition.
His CB1000 and Watsonian Sidecar will also be for sale. His son will be providing me with further information later.
Anyone wanting to show an interest in this Sleeper can email me at [email protected] and I will email photo's out as soon as I have collected the Sleeper.
These images were taken after I had fitted the new floor to the Sleeper, hence the little black sticker on the door shot is the Shetland Island's Simmer Dim Rally sticker. The Sleeper will have none of the company graphics on (email, web address or tel number). The Turtle graphic is still on, but can be removed if required. The 'Camping in a hard shell' and other writing on the rear of the door will also be removed. It should have the door awning with it, as well as a spare wheel mounted to the tow hitch. The mattress shown is not included as this was from another Sleeper just used for a photo. This is the lightest version we made at around 100Kg road ready. It is on 250Kg indespension units. Specifically for the Trike/M-Bike outfit market
I haven't had chance to collect it yet as the winds up these parts are currently clocking around the 60+mph mark.
There has been considerable interest in the Sleeper both on and off the forum, and as it is advertised elsewhere I reserve the right to remove the advert without notification.
Different Sleeper, but shows the rear cover for the door when used in the open position
