If not sold, you might consider taking it to the ITG in June. There is always someone that comes to look around and looking to buy a teardrop.

Gage, what is ITG and wheres it located? I am in Columbus Nebraska....I hope we can get it sold as we need to do alot of repairs to the new one we just got and its not going to be able to happen if this is not sold..Have it listed here and on several Craigslists around the area but may have to put it up on Ebay but I hate to give them any money..Would rather sell it to local enthusiast cheaper first....Thanks...Bruce

ITG stands for International Teardrop Gathering. It'll be at Pioneer Village in Minden, NE, June 16th thru 19th. Just a hop, skip and a jump from you. ;)

Thanks very much for putting up the Pictures..You must be much smarter than I..I will give it some thought on the minden event if no luck before then..One guy emailed me and thinks this may either be a 1948 KIT made by "KIT" out of California or a Fleetwood,he told me some things to look for and he said if it is it is a very rare and desirable one. Will let you know if I find out anything further researching what he told me...Bruce

It's not a KIT. Wrong frame, wrong door. And I've never heard of a Fleetwood teardrop.

Thanks for that info Gage..I looked at some pictures of Kit ones and it does appear that the hitch is similar but a little differant shape.Appears the doors are maybe larger on a KIT one too..I have not found anything yet on the Fleetwood paople yet either so I am unsure on that yet...Thanks

I'm originally from Norfolk, left at age 25. I miss it but not at this time
of year. Its going to be a tough sell in Nebraska in the winter. If its
still for sale in June, I would do what Gage suggested and take it to Minden.
Although you may not want to part with a teardrop after you have been
to a gatheing.
Good Luck

Tom,yes may be hard to sell.I have someone from Colorado that sounds very interested but have not heard back from him..I went ahead and put it on Ebay today.I will still sell it here if someones interested and just delete the Ebay ad but heres the item number if anyone cares to view it and bid there.I am starting it with a 1200.00 price and no reserve so we will see..I think its worth that and more but maybe our personal attatchment is getting in the way of a realistic price...

Believe me really love the thing and will hate to see it go and have enjoyed it for three years now but we have a 13 foot 1963 Shasta we need the money to fix it up before June as we will be camping by then...

Well,it is SOLD I guess on Ebay..It has around six hours left as of this morning and is only at 1325.00 and I will be really dissapointed with that but I still have around 159 people watching it but they are sure not bidding..I did not set a reserve just started it at 1200/00 as we really need to get the Shasta finished up before spring and even that amount will surely help out.I guess what it sells for is what its worth...Thanks

$2600 isn't bad...
And since you were only looking for $2000, I'd say its great!

Hey Rob,yes I was a little surprised at the price but when we first aquired around 3 years ago I estimated its value right at 2600.00 but with the economy now I never expected it but it wil make a great little camper for the new owners. We have really enjoyed it I know...Thanks
