I am living in Southern Alberta, Canada. I'm looking for a used Camp-Inn or Little Guy 5 foot platform. I'm willing to travel anywhere in Western Canada or the North Western United States. New model preferred up to $10,000.00

Those two teardrops are as different as night and day. Which one do you want? You can buy new Lil' Guy's all day long for under $10,000. And you'll get what you pay for. The Camp Inn is considered to be 'top of the line' teardrops and well worth the big bucks you'll pay for it. The one noted above looks to have all the bells and whistles at a decent price. A new one would cost you much more.

thanks for the info

I will contact him. I'm just learning and I can only go by recommendations that were on a site...recommending camp-inns and little guys.
thanks

I would love to sell you mine.
With the money you would save you could have a great cross county trip.

Bohemiem has a very nice unit, very true about the price.

If you are interested in seeing a Camp Inn, there are units in Canada, I believe near Edmonton. Best thing to do is contact Camp Inn, Cary is always willing to answer any questions and find "local" units for viewing.

As for quality, there is no comparision between a Little Guy and a Camp Inn. I choose a Camp Inn because of the quality.

Good luck with your search.

Jean

dgkingsto, that's the teardrop you should look at. It is one nice teardrop. Even though it's a 'home built', it was built with quality. Just check out bohemian's album. And for only $8000, it's less than what your allowing.

I just wish it was here in SoCal. I know I could sale it at Lake Perris. You just live on the wrong side of the tracks. ;)

Wayne I know I've said it before...but I looove your teardrop. The work you put into that trailer just shines from it. I wish I could afford it right now because I'd snap it up..Plus..I don't think I need to have 3 trailers.
Are you going to be at Fish Creek this year? I'd love to see it up close again.

Another possibility is a new manufacturer making custom teardrops.
http://www.leftyoriginals.com which now has a 5X10 available. The first two are now on the floor. These can be made with pretty much anything you want and price point is less than Camp Inn with comparable quality. The web site is very basic as yet but that will be improving shortly. How do I know, I will be working with Ryan and I now have a vested interest. It also means I have input into design (I was the one suggesting the 5X10) and will get to test some of the features and we will be camping in them.

THANKS EVERYBODY BOUGHT A CAMPINN

A gently used Camp Inn 550 Ultra will sell for at least $12,000 and upward if has as TV, AC, and furnace.

If your are willing to extend your budget upto $15,000 there are units available on Ebay and a few more dollars at CI.

Somewhere in this thread there is a search website for teardrops. If you wait, the perfect CI will come along and be willing to travel a few more miles.

If you desire to see an actual CI, there are units located in Canada. Cary, at Camp Inn can facilitate viewing.

Good luck,

Jean
