After a year of terrific camping trips and a National Parks Tour across the United States,
it is time to sell our beloved and super-fun teardrop camper.
Here's what she looks like:

This teardrop has been a fantastic way to see the country as well as be economical
and comfortable at the same time. I get some of the best sleep when we're
    camping.

Here are some of the features it has:
8 inch QUEEN SIZE Memory Foam Mattress
    Air Conditioning
    Recessed Lighting
110volt/12 volt electric with Optima Yellow Top Battery
    LED Brake/Running/Turn Signal Lights
    Swing-back Trailer Jack with Wheel
    15 inch Wheels
    "Blackout Curtains"
    Full Styrofoam Insulation
    Hardwood floor with storage compartment
    Dual Exterior Lights

In a nutshell, I bought the trailer and sides from a guy in South Carolina who got into another project and wanted to get rid of this project. He had started with "sandwich wall" construction, so I went with that as well. It has 1/2 inch plywood on the sides and 2 inch "studs" in between. It is fully insulated with styrofoam insulation including the galley and hatch. The interior stays very cool or warm depending on what you want as well as very quiet. We sleep so well because the temperature is just right, and we CANNOT hear anything outside. The interior walls are made of 1/8 plywood. The exterior roof is made from Fiberglass Reinforced Panels that have been coated with an Recreational Vehicle sealant. The interior is fairly simple with a thick eight inch Memory Foam Mattress that is super comfortable. It has four recessed lights that are really bright as well as two 3-way reading lights that are fully adjustable. The lights run off both 110v and 12v. There is a shelf for books, clothes, flashlights, or whatever else you can think of. The Air Conditioning is a perfect unit that cools the interior down in minutes. It runs off 110v. Speaking of electrical, the teardrop has a sealed Yellow Top Optima Battery with a 30amp Intelli Power PD9130 Converter to charge the battery when connected to 110v. There is a dual outlet on the interior as well as one in the galley. It has a very long "shore line" (probably 50ft) that is contained on the back side of a door in the galley. It exits the teardrop through a PVC screw cap in the floor of the camper. The galley has two shelves that can easily be fitted with plastic containers for dishes/food/towels/utensils or whatever your please. The cooler, which is a Coleman EXTREME cooler that has extra thick walls to keep things cold, will be included in the sale. When we took it across the country, we only had to put ice in the cooler ever 3 or 4 days in 90+ degree weather. The cooler rides on a slideout shelf that gives easy access to its contents. Because of the "built-to-last" mentality going into this teardrop, it is not the lightest in the world. Weighing in at just under 1500 pounds, it would be better to have a decent size vehicle to tow it such as our SUV (Toyota 4Runner). The teardrop has a 4-prong electrical connector for lights/brakes to your vehicle.

We have enjoyed this teardrop on many different trips, and we hate to see it go. But, it's time to move on, and we'd love to see someone else use it and enjoy it as much as we have. It is quite a nice teardrop and super comfortable and spacious. I would like to get $3500 from it, but I am willing to entertain offers. We live in Berrien Springs, Michigan, so if you're close and would like to come see it, let me know. Also, our family lives in the South, so I would be willing to help with delivery if you live down there. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected], or call or text at 423-341-8515. Thank you for looking!
