EOS, Rebel XT...wish I could give you more information, the two new lens are a zoom 55-250mm, with image stabilizer, and 70-300mm, both canon lens. since the to lens are new I'll be asking about with I got in them ...so we're looking at $650. for a package deal......or camera alone for $375.00

Papa,
I feel your pain.
I am selling a Rebel XSi kit.
Tried selling it on ebay last week. Didn't even hit the reserve of $349.
Mike...
P.S. We are in a recession if goodies like cameras don't sell on ebay!

I can buy this same camera on ebay for well under $300. Maybe you’re asking too much.
Very Scary

I've had pretty good luck, it is scary, but it has worked out by selling with no Reserve. It seems to get them bidding. I've done better than I would have thought.

Ebay buyers love "free" extras. Including the case/bag is a perfect example and a good start. Also including a memory card. You can also buy cheap accessories and include them, the return on a $5 accessory can add as much as $50-100 to your final price. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it has worked for me every time, and I've been selling on eBay (nothing professional -- just used stuff that I own) since a year after they first went online. Free shipping is overrated. Some buyers gravitate to that, but more gravitate to a Buy-It-Now price because they don't want to play the auction game. Also, if people think they're getting a really good deal with a lot of extras, they won't even blink about having to pay for shipping.
The most important thing in my experience? The original box. If you want top dollar you have to have the original box. NEVER THROW AWAY YOUR BOX! I have actually sold an EMPTY camera lens box for $25 + Priority Mail shipping. I couldn't find the box when I sold my lens, and my final price reflected that. I was able to recoup some of that loss by selling the empty box with all packing material to another seller who was selling his lens without a box. He was able to change his active action to say, "Found the box! Now includes original box and all packing materials!" That virtually started up his stagnant auction again. Always try to include the box, even if it's only in so-so condition.
That's my advice/experience. Good luck with selling your camera!

Will here I came up with that price.... I took the camera over to one of the bigger deals and let him price it out for a fair price .. He came back with $350 for the camera, since the lens for band new .. He price them at $200. Each, and I just payed $65 for the bag... I do not think $650. And I ship it is not bad....

OK, KEH.com has Canon Digital Rebel XT bodies for $149 in bargain condition to $259 in Excellent+ condition.
The 55-250 lens is available for $149 in Excellent condition to $165 in Like New condition.
If the 70-300 is the IS version (IS on/off switch on the side) it's worth more than the other two combined. It sells for ~$500 new and ~$400 used.
But remember these are prices from a big, used camera retailer for inspected cameras in condition often better than stated. You will have to be very lucky to get anything near KEHs prices. A good guide to used camera prices is the "completed auctions" listing on eBay. That shows what people are actually paying for used gear.
What you paid for a piece of gear new is not necessarily a good guide to how much someone else will pay for it used. There are lots and lots of used Canon Digital Rebel XTs on the market, and almost as many of Mike's XSi. After trying to sell my original Digital Rebel and not getting any offer over $100, I gave it to my brother. Who uses it almost every day, and gets lots more use from it than any $100 would be worth.
My $0.02 worth
