SOLD - (FS - PA) 2010 4'x9' Homebuilt Convertible $2,500

After an awesome year and a half of camping in the convertible, the building bug has dug its teeth into me again.
As I live in an apartment, I don't have space to keep the convertible AND build the new trailer, so I need to make room in one of two ways: Sell the convertible, or strategically dismantle it.
I still have a few trips planned for this fall, so I wasn't planning on selling until mid-October, but if the time is right for someone else to acquire a new trailer, then so be it.
The nitty gritty of the convertible...
- built on 1720lb Harbor Freight trailer frame, with 12" wheels
- the teardrop body is 48.5" wide inside, and 108.75" long outside (4'-0 1/2" x 9'-0 3/4")
- sides are 3/4" oak plywood
- wood was sealed with CPES, then protected with Kilz Premium primer, and finally top-coated with Rustoleum High Performance Enamel
- exposed roof spars are Red Oak, and sealed with spar urethane
- weighs around 700-800lbs (estimate)
- tongue weight is around 100lbs (measured)
- removable roof is marine grade white vinyl
- doors are factory-style 26"x32" with matching keys
- exterior, interior, and galley lights are LED's
- lights are toggled on and off using a remote key fob (like keyless entry for a car) (2 key fobs)
- has a Fantastic Fan 4000r (3-speed, reversible)
- 4" Spa Sensations memory foam mattress
- hidden under-floor storage box
- Contico tongue box with lockable latches
- custom 23" tongue extension - greatly improves maneuverability in reverse, as well as tracking on the highway
- curtains for the doors and front screen area
- the interior shelf has removable rails, that work to keep bags from sliding off during transit, or as a crib-rail to keep a young child from falling off in the middle of the night
Wired for 12vDC
- All 12VDC is wired to be powered by tow vehicle battery OR on-board deep cycle battery (not included)
- 12V/5A waterproof Battery Tender (DC power supply/smart-charger)
- 12V receptacle and 5V USB receptacle inside cabin
Wired for 110vAC
- 110V outlets in main cabin and in galley
- GFCI included
The convertible teardrop comes with my own 44 page Construction Guide, detailing EXACTLY how the trailer was built.
I think I covered everything, but if you have any questions at all, I'll be more than happy to answer them!
The teardrop is titled in PA and has never been in an accident.
Asking price is $2,500.
