Sat Beach is only 10-15miles from where I grew up. I hope that it would have caught my eye.

Shish...Satellite Beach. Its all good no matter as the chatter keeps the post active and interesting. I did post quite a number of travel photos in the album. Been awhile since I've been here but do lurk occasionally.

So where is 10 - 15 miles from Satellite Beach? Cocoa Beach, Palm Bay, Cape Canaveral, Grant, Titusville, Melbourne Beach?

My wife and I grew up in Palm Bay on the NE side, my wife lived on the river. As a kid, I spent a lot of time shrimpin', crabbing and fishing on the Eau Gallie Causeway before they built the big bridges.

Did the same myself. Used to make Coleman Lantern reflector "hats" at Satellite High School metal shop in the 60's. Brevard County School System paid for the material LOL. Caught a bunch of shrimp off the causeway and Mather's.
