Ok, I have been off the board for a few days due to birth of a new grandson. But I can hardly believe Jerome posted about a Dougkraft trailer for sale (isn't this Doug's first trailer?) YESTERDAY and there hasn't been even ONE reply? :? shocked and amazed. Is everyone out having corned beef and green beer? :FNP

Isn't this the one that is in the Teardrop Book? With Daisy the wonder dog?

Not often one can get an early work of a master.

No, the one in Doug Keister's teardrop book is Doug Hodder's second trailer of this similar design. It is called the Road Titan and is currently owned by Joanie the Teardrop Nanny.
This one, The Comet, is Doug's first trailer. The two are alike in the style and design of the wood sides and aluminum top but the Road Titan is 6" wider and has different cabinets in both the galley and the cabin.

Wow, that trailer is just down the road from me. If I weren't already up to my eyeballs with my own build, I'd be VERY interested!

Best of luck with the sale!

Jerome, it's nice to see the Comet in such good condition, I was surprised to see you dragging it at the last Dam. I didn't know you had gotten it. As a side note. This trailer was the Peoples Choice at the first ITG in '05 and has won awards at the Dam Gathering as well. Good luck with the sale Jerome. Doug

Folks, this trailer is truly a unique work of art.
If you like/appreciate the Arts&Crafts era style of Craftsmanship, this trailer will give you a good fill of that! Beautiful teardrop.
I have camped /slept in it and can personally vouch for its fine interior character. And the outside.....you will get looks at every corner and attract a crowd anytime you pull into a parking lot or campground. Plus, it was built with TLC and has been well taken care of.

Joanie

Jerome, are you bringing it to the Dam again? That might drum up some interest with a big 'ole FOR SALE sign.
