This Teardrop Trailer Won’t Drain the Bank or the Tank

This 4’x8’ trailer was built by a former RV technician who worked in Elkhart Indiana. It tracks straight and weighs only 590 LBS. I pull it with my Subaru Forester (4cyl) and hardly know it’s there. All parts were puttied or adhered before assembling. All rails and windows were sealed with Sika Flex Sealant. The walls 1 1/8” thick are built of new plywood covered with interior panels and exterior Filon Fiberglass. The floor is waterproof. I bought this camper new in 2010 and have used it only twice for a total of less than 1000 miles. Bed consists of 2 layers (that's 8") of foam. Base is 4” quality Firm foam, topped with 4 more inches of memory foam. Everything is in almost new condition.

Thanks, Paul

I just wanted to add this link to a comparable used trailer built by the same craftsman. It was on ebay this week for $2850.00, without the upgraded power converter or mattress. Check out his seller's feedback (100% positive).

Didn't look to me that he had any takers. Again too much money for what it is. You can get a fully function teardrop for that much money.

Hi Gage,
I think you may have a good point.
Perhaps the ebay seller's price of $2,850. was high, especially when his trailer did not come with upgrades like the 8" mattress and extra quiet power converter, offered in this one for $2,450.00.
