This trailer was recently completed and we had a great maiden voyage to OBX. I am a self employed professional cabinet maker and just completed this one. Ready to build the next.
Over $3k and hundreds of hours invested. This trailer is built with top quality cabinet grade materials.
Front view, AC cover in place. Crank out windows (both left & right sides are identical). Front is covered with high impact solid rubber for protection from road wear. 3/4" pine frame, interior & exterior are 1/4" birch veneer ply, all trim is solid birch. Finished with 6 coats Benjamin Moore's marine spar varnish.
Rear view. Galley locks with key, "Custom Camper" chrome emblem above license plate light. We caught the beginning of Hurricane Ophelia in the Outer Banks, NC and it did not leak a single drop. Roof and A/C cover are "Topgun" marine duck canvas. Roof has 1/2" padding.
Galley is extremely functional and there is room for everything. Sliding cabinet doors with finger holes on both top and bottom cabinets. Large locking utility drawer with removable utensil tray. Fold up/down table and dorm size refrig. Two double outlets and plenty of work space.
Interior front has his & hers storage cabinets/dressers with shelf (lots of room), 13" TV w/built-in DVD and 5000 btu AC. Hi/Low light under TV shelf.
Interior rear has shelf with rail to store shade awning. Crank out windows are located near your face so you can see out and get some fresh air. 2 Ceiling lights are swiveling eyeballs on a dimmer. Mattress is 5" deep custom memory foam 56 1/2" wide X 76" long and fit queen size linens perfectly. Extremely comfortable!
Galley is lit with two night lights and a battery operated 4" fluorescent on hatch.
Oh, by the way, did I mention is has front & rear blue ground effect lights? Not only do they look cool but they are for safety too.
