Teardrop for sale
Posted: Sat Sep 01, 2012 5:52 amCustom built Benroy style Teardrop trailer. Body size is 5'wide and 9' 6" in length with overall dimension of 13 ft from hitch to rear. The frame is 2" squared steel tubing with mitered corners & three crossmembers, mig welded & perfectly square. The axle is a Dexter rubber torsion suspension unit rated at 1500 lbs. 14" wheels with 205/75
R14 tires complete the running gear. The spare tire is brand new & comes with a road cover. The floor is 3/4" plywood with 5 coats of polyurethane on both sides. The underside is coated with rubberized truck bed liner to make it waterproof. The body is of 3/4" Birch plywood with 1/8" Birch on the interior walls. Ceiling is insulated with 3/4" of foam sandwiched between with 3/4" crossmembers for strength. The entire exterior is covered with Aluminum with a white baked enamel finish. The doors are commercially manufactered by Nappanee Trailer components. Fiberglass 39' Ford fenders with all exterior side marking lights. The ceiling has a reversing vent fan with an all weather sheild attached so you can keep the vent running in a torrential downpour if you wish. The galley was built in Oak with 5 drawers and includes a pull out two burner LP stove & built in Microwave. All interior lighting is 12 Volt and the battery is connected to a charging system when plugged into shore power with an all weather outlet. The interior is finished in light Birch with two large cabinets and a center mirror. This camper also comes with a new 4" foam pillowtop queensize bed & comes with a set of new sheets.There are two 110 outlets in the galley and one in the cabin. This has been a really terrific camper but, we are now aspiring for something a bit larger and besides, the dogs will be really happier. We have used this Teardrop less than 10 times total. Always garaged and nicer than any manufactuered unit that you will ever find plus, comes with all the ammenities ready to camp.
