Just curious as to the towing mileage you experienced.

Since you sized it to the tow vehicle cross section, that, and
the use of the curved wall sections should help make it
much more 'aero' than the average TD.

Mileage with old subaru was under sixty 21 mpg, over sixty 24 mpg. The difference was 4th or 5th gear. A non lifted subaru should be able to hold 5th under sixty. I think pretty good for a car rated at 26mpg with no advertised towing ability.
