The time has finally come to sell this little gem and if you are looking for a vintage trailer in excellent condition, look no further. It was stored in a heated garage, unused for 35 years when we found it 7 years ago. The rear of the trailer has a bed which sleeps two (new mattress) The dinette table drops down to make an extra bed for one. Innerspring dinette cushions are original & have been professionally reupholstered. New countertop, table,& flooring. New tires, & re-packed bearings(last year). Original icebox, hookup for water, 110 electric, storage under bed / dinette & small wardrobe closet. Weight is 1068 lbs dry.
This trailer has always been wintered in a garage. It has NEVER leaked and has no rot issues whatsoever. It also comes with the original canvas awning which works great and has recently been re-proofed. Asking price is $6000. Serious inquiries only.

To make it easy for anyone intetested, here are some interior & exterior shots of the Metzendorf.

Absolutely stunning camper!!

Should be an easy sale I'd imagine. I hope the new owner appreciates and cares for it as much as you have.

That is an absolutely beautiful trailer. Wished I lived closer and had the money.

Have a question Rick. How does that screen door work? Is that the travel position for it?

Yes Gage, that is the travel position, and swings in when the main door is open, I'm assuming the original owner put it there. It works well but can easily be removed.

One of my favorite trailers! If only it was in the state of CA I would drive right over! I know it must be a tough decision to let it go. Have fun with your new trailer!

I am sooooooo Happy to see this trailer in all it's beauty! I am in the process of saving a 60 metz from the junkyard, in fact in was outright given to me. Long story short the man said he wanted it to go to a person who would use it and then pass it on. He really wanted to rebuild it but lost the time to do so. Such a blessing and I plan on making good. My little 11 yr old girl is very excited to join the woods once more with the trailer. TY for sharing the pictures, very hard to find good ones of the Metz 8)
