Not mine, but will post it for anyone that may be interested. Saw this at the Pismo rally. Perhaps a bit pricey, but it seemed like a quality build.

It's cool, but I could never put that out on my road. The snowplow goes past my place at 60MPH and takes my mailbox out every other year. They don't even replace it! Could you imagine their face if I sent them a bill for $295.00  I could see it up by the front door, that would be cool.

And when they are finished with their $295 dollar teardrop. It looks it. Just another piece of junk that someone is calling a teardrop.

I agree with Woodbutcher. The first bored teen with a baseball bat is going to take special attention to that mailbox. Now, I could see if it were a woody and cost closer to $50, that it might be worth it, but at $300, that is indeed a mailbox for a porch railing.

Thanks for the post Cliff

I guess I don't get it, Some body takes the time and effort to build something, why do some people feel the need to publicly critize their work. If you think its too expensive, DON'T BUY ONE. If you don't like the way it looks, OH WELL.

I like to see everything people are out there building that promotes teardropping and tearing down peoples projects

Why do kids have to take baseball bats and hit people's mailboxes or, for that matter, why does anyone have to damage anything that belongs to someone else? This type of destructive attitude is ruining our country and the world.

Because the parents don't have the time or care what their kids do today as long as it's not bothering them. Todays parents want to be friends with their kids, they don't know how to be parents. :o

Really neat to say the least. Since I cannot seem to get a real one built perhaps I can make one of them. Need tail lights , a draw bar and a decal door and window. :applause: Bill
