I have decided to sell our very rare 1957 Metzendorf camper. 8' long, 76" wide, weighs 1400#, un-restored except for polishing the exterior. This is a one-of-a-kind unit, as all the Metzendorfs known to exist are 10 ft long. Propane stove, fridge, furnace and light, 110 vt lights, on board water and sink, birch cabinets, everything original, 47" x 75" mattress with new pillow top pad, tons of cabinet storage, closet, re-wired original taillights, original badging, vinyl flooring has been replaced, white wall radials, electric brake axle, spare tire. Re-sealed edge trim. Have towed it to hotrod and vintage camper shows around the Midwest and would not hesitate to tow it to the west coast. I fully believe this is worth $10-20k, as it is the only one known to exist. The RV museum has stated that it may be one of the rarest campers known. But...I have too much inventory and need to move some. I am offering it for sale for $8500. Can be delivered for expenses anywhere
