'69 Shasta Compact East of Dallas SOLD

Postby 2bits » Sun Jun 08, 2014 5:11 pm

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/rvs/4510562655.html (Ad pulled due to overwhelming response and no purchase)

OK, I've had about a billion (OK 20) people come to see the trailer only to realize that what I said in the ad was indeed true. This is a project that needs a lot of work. Yes, ALOT of work, but at the same time has ALOT of potential. I am so sick of showing this camper to people and then have them wander around tromping mud through my Kenskill, making me skip dinner and valuable time I could be spending working on my new camper.

So... I stole the wings off of it, put them on my new '70 Shasta that someone previously removed them from and I am cutting the price of the Compact in HALF just so I can clear the decks. If anyone is interested, it is now $400. I pulled it from Craigslist because these people are wasting too much of my valuable time while I watch them get a reality check after watching too much of RV crazy on TV.

Same here...

Thomas, will you deliver it to Illinois for that price? ;)

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

What would it take to restore, $$ wise?

Got any more pictures? interior, accessories, etc.

OOps, Sorry I've been distracted and forgot to put "sold" on the ad, but it sold last weekend. The question you ask is impossible to answer. Too many variables and too many levels of the definition of "restored".
