Is that a spring type torsion axle? I've really got to study torsion axles more closely.... as I may be getting one.
I like the simple frame design.

Does anybody know what the specs are on that frame? Thickness of the channel that the main frame/tongue is made of? What does it weigh?
Maybe Andrew can at least give it a guess???

I don't know any of the specs; but TEARDROP PARTS has the "replica" Kenskill frames for $1500.00. There made from the original drawings and plans......

The only old one I have info on is a 1946 Kit, which has a 1" x 2" x 3/16" channel frame.
Anybody who has an old trailer and can send me the frame specs would be much appreciated.

I think the simplicity of the frame just shows how "overbuilt" some of our current frames are - mine included.
