Please see the build thread here: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=57667

Since the build thread, I've replaced the coroplast roof skin with aluminum and skinned the back wall, as well as adding the rain gutter over the door. I also added a Ventline metal fanless roof vent.

I have over $1300 into the build, not to mention hours of labor, buckets of sweat, and volumes of cursing! I have almost $400 into the base trailer alone, including new (<1 year old, <500 mile) tires, LED taillights and wiring, and more.

I admit built quality isn't the fanciest, but it is a dry box for sleeping. It weighs <500 lb, and about 65 lb. tongue weight, so you can pull it with most anything

Clear NV title in my name.

I think it's a fair price at $750 - NOW $650! you can't build it for that - but if you think it's not worth that much, feel free to make me an offer. Located in Las Vegas, NV.

Thank you for reading my ad.

Just me, but I would change the name. I would never buy something that is named "The Coffin". Yes it kind of looks like one, but no one will want to buy something that makes them think of dying. Maybe call it "The Sleeper" or "Camp Lite". List it on craigslist as a light weight single sleeper for the quick overnight or weekend camper. Promote it's benefits and do not make it sound like a death box.

Just my 2 cents.
Dan

bump for Dan's comment.. Its a neat little sleeper so maybe omit the coffin reference and push the cozy and dry aspects. Good Luck with the sale!

Thanks for the tip, Dan. Heck, I'll name it after your Aunt Edna if it helps it sell!

At 517 pounds, you might be able to advertise it as a motorcycle camper and get some bites that way.

Rename it "The Wedge". It looks like one.

I was gonna suggest naming it "The Wedgie", since the diminutive ending of "ie"
usually makes things sound nicer/cuter. But then I realized that "Wedgie" is
almost as bad as "Coffin" for negative associations ! Ha ! But the name "The Wedge"
is free of those.

Cheers,
Norn/mezmo

Okay, last bump (and I've changed the name!)

$500 cash money. If you're looking for a simple bug-out trailer, or you camp alone, I double-dog-DARE you to build this for $500.

If I had time to drive to Vegas and back, or if you were closer, I'd take this. Oh well, free thread bump.
