It is with some ambivalence I post an interest in selling the Weekender-for-5. This has been a great camper for my family. It is built with a sliding bunk/shelf that allows three kids to sleep in the bunk above, while two adults sleep below. The bunk can also be removed altogether, which makes it a very roomy camper for two. It is built on a 5x8 trailer from Northern Tool, but extends another foot in both the front and back, so cabin is essentially 5x10. It has been garage-kept, and only taken out on camping trips. It is wired in both 12v and 110v, but the converter burnt out a couple of years ago, so I've just been running an extension cord into the camper. Sides are cabinet birch. Two of my kids are adolescents now, so it has become a tight fit for all of us. AND...I've got the bug to build another one.
I don't know what to ask for it, I'm thinking maybe $2500, although it cost me more to build it. Retro style crank windows, vent with fan. The wood was sealed with epoxy sealant, and exterior was painted with epoxy boat paint. See the link below for pictures and build video.
