Teardrop project for sale

We are moving across the country at the end of May and this trailer needs to go to a good home because we can't take it with us. Built by FAA licensed aircraft mechanic (I like aluminum!).

Features:
- Fully welded 2" box steel frame.
- Dexter torsion axle for softer ride.
- 2" hitch with safety chains and detachable jack.
- Coker whitewall tires, 16" rims, trim rings, moon caps.
- One peice plywood deck (5x10) 3/4" think.
- Marmoleum flooring.
- Hickory cabinets inside.
- Galley sink with hand pump.
- 3 burner range with oven.
- Prewired for electric lights inside and out.
- Vintage boomerange formica pattern.
- Crank out windows.

There are a few things that you'll need to finish:
- Hang cabinet doors.
- Connect electrical system.
- Complete galley latch.
- Trim galley countertop.
- Install door gaskets.
- Run propane line.
- Install water tank.

I have this trailer on craigslist for $8,200 but I'd rather see it go to a teardropper who can finish it right and enjoy it. I'll let it go for $5,900 which is less than what we've invested.

Trailer is located in northern California: 530~575~8820

I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

That's a great looking drop with alot of attention to detail and alot of money well spent.
Dosn't look like it's got more than a few weekends worth of work in it either, best of luck with your sale...must be disappointing to have to unload it with all that work

Thank you for your kind words! Yes, it was my wife's dream trailer. We worked on it together from the start. I probably went overboard on little details but I'm an engineer by trade and mechanic for fun so I couldn't help it!

We're moving across the country for my work and we won't have any place to store it or work on it. Hoping somebody takes it off our hands in the next couple of weeks! :)
Can somebody tell me how to get photos into a post? I have pix I'd like to share.

EDIT: I figured out how to upload pix.

I think your lack of selling problem is the fact that you are narrowing your market down to those with skills to finish it. Noticeably the lack of a door (two would be twice as good) and no struts. The rest... you could still drag it home and go camp.

A fine lookng project!  A sad story. :frightened:
