Nearly Completed Teardrop for Sale

Postby omnivores.wanderlust » Fri Aug 14, 2015 11:28 am

Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and in need of selling my project teardrop soon. Easiest for me would be to email all photos directly to folks interested. The teardrop was intended for maximum storage and sleeping bunk. Slide-outs on both sides create a double size bunk space, Storage aft of bunk which could be converted to the galley. Also a box built into trailer frame for under floor storage. the interior flooring is reclaimed oak in herringbone pattern with decorative inlay. A very nice wine rack, ample shelving, support braces were made to accept cargo nets for overheat storage. All joinery has been precision CNC cut, screws have been sunk and holes plugged, no visible screw heads! Trailer has powerbrakes and mounted with 275/60r15.
I look forward to sharing pictures with everyone.
Thanks,
Chris

It would be better to those looking if you added a picture of the unit that you are trying to sell. It would be best if you added a link to your build thread. You do have one, don't you? Also, please list your location. People may not want to buy something that is more than 200 miles away or whatever. Or, post the Internet address for your Craigslist ad, if you have that and it has a picture. Also, please be aware that, unless you're a known builder of trailers, it is usually easier to sell something that is home-built after it has been finished, used and proven. When you are trying to sell something, you don't do what is easiest for you. You do what it takes to sell. You may have good reasons for your quick advertisement; and, if that's what it is, you have my condolences. Regardless, your object is to sell the trailer, isn't it? It's like fishing. A hook without a fly or other bait is just a hook to most fish. Good luck on your sale.

Good advice Sharon. Unless you have something to entice the reader to move forward, most will just move on instead. For all I know it is just a utility trailer with a flatbed piece of wood on it. May be just in need of finishing, but who knows. Not enough info to make me move forward even if I was in the market to purchase a teardrop.

It's also not trust inspiring to see 2 posts....and the other post is a similar trying to sell with no pictures.

We are a community, not Craigslist. It's a give and take. Get involved, get to know people....then try to sell if it is still your desire.

Good morning,
This maybe a mute point but have you sold your camper yet?
