Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Well I have changed pace a little bit and am ready for a larger trailer but I must sell the one I have first. I camped in it for 2 years and my build thread can be found here viewtopic.php?f=50&t=51053 I have it posted on craigslist for 6.5 k http://kansascity.craigslist.org/rvs/5469070937.html but will entertain any serious offers. I am located in Overland Park KS and this thing is camp ready. Always stored under a shelter or in a garage. No leaks or water damage and has been though quite a few rainstorms. PM me for more info!

I was going to build that style of trailer UNTIL we stopped in at Camp-Inn.
Only difference to my design, theirs and yours, the front roof edge to back about 2-3 ft. would slope down a bit to mmm-maybe be a 1 ft lower for less frontal wind.

AH-well, I have a new, and hopefully better, design anyways.

OK I pulled the last post on CL since I had very few bites, probably due to the fact I was asking well more than I expected to get for it. I reposted with much better pictures and a fuller description and more realistic price. (I think) The wife went from willing to camp with me in that to needing a bathroom in the trailer over the last year so I am looking to go bigger for family camping and for my own camping backpacking will be the route.

Any friendly advice on how to sell it quick is well appreciated.

Camping season is right around the corner, you have some other cheaper competition around right now but you have a better product. Maybe just take it camping in primitive camping areas with a for sale sign and see if you get any bites.

Thanks man I appreciate the insight, I might just do that. Ya I have seen some go for near my price over the last year or two with less features so I am hoping I can get close to what I am wanting. I am hoping to get it sold by the summer time so I have time to wait it out.

Well it sold and for right around what I was hoping to end up at. Now to start designing the next one . My brother has a nice shop in Oregon and I should be able to build the next one with him in a matter of a couple weeks once I move out there this summer. In the meantime back to tent camping.

Has a tent ever been made to look like a Teardrop?
