Kind of interesting to consider what you'd get for less than a Runaway. Assuming 60 hours total or maybe 80 since you're probably not paying taxes or fica, etc.

NT 4x8, delivered, unmodified except move axle back $500

Cabin 4 x 8 x 4 high, 3/4 ply, arch top to avoid joists, probably some blocking to reinforce vertical corners. 5 pcs good both sides 3/4 ply $500

1 door, 1 window, 1 vent $750 ???

paint in and out and probably edpm or similar roof $250

some net hammocks for storage at one end

no insulation, no rear hatch, no electric, no plumbing, no spare, no mattress, no anything else

You might get away with $2000 in materials plus $2000 labor, but its a lot less than the basic economy teardrops available with mire soace, bigger wheels, and some amenities, all of which justify the other $1000 imho. Plus most of us enjoy the planning and building and there is little joy in building a project this basic.
