So how did the doors turn out? Are they water tight? This is the second time you've tried to sale your teardrop. Have you thought about putting it on ebay?

Have a good day.

My biggest concern would be how well it seals up when the doors are closed in a hard rain. The doors are pocket doors and slide inside the tear. I asked that question and because of the past, he most likely won't answer it. So what you probably should do is send him an emal and ask all the questions you can think of. It might be a good teardrop for you. Still needs work. But like that, you could finish it off to suit you.

Have a good day.

to be honest

To behonest the tear has always been gargaged and was only in the rain during a trip home once. We had no leaks then but to be honest I realy have not had it out it the rain yet. Yes the doors seal up and pretty well. If the doors are a big concern then they could easly be redone to the normal door style. For the most part the the doors set on a tract that catches any water that runs down them and then drains out, not in. Also had had planned to put an little awning up over each dooor but I haven't done that yet.

For $500 someone should grab it. It wouldn't take but a little work, a couple new doors, and some finishing to make it nice. So who is going to grab it?

Jake, Jon's post was just two hours before yours. Yes I would say it's still for sale. Give him a call, he gave his phone number in the very first post. The way I look at it, it's a very good deal. You would have to do a little more work to it, but at the price he's asking, you should go for it. He most likely isn't even getting back what he has in it. I live to far away to think about it.

Have a good day.

I'm about 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Chattanoga Tenn. If you're from nashville its not bad of a drive. I'd be willing to drive a little ways to trim some time off your trip.
