Houston seeking trailer!

I want to build my own but I need one before then for my trip in July. I'd probably sell it when I got back, unless someone wanted to rent it to me for two weeks. Hint, hint.

All I care about is that it's road safe with decent tires, and not too big. I'll tow it with my mid-sized car and will store my camping gear and stuff in it. I won't sleep in it as I do have a tent.

As this will only be for short term use and not for sleeping in, I won't need anything fancy, just safe.

Please let me know if you have anything within a few hundred miles or so of Houston, Texas!

Why not just buy an HF trailer, put a temporary storage box on it for your camping gear. Later when you get ready to build, you'll already have the trailer.

I hope to do some antique shopping on my trip so would want some storage space.

I'd also like the opportunity to become familiar with teardops so that I can better determine what I would want when I build one of my own. I've never seen one before.

...I'm sorry Miztiki but I can't imagine anyone renting you their tear so that you could have a place for your dogs to hang out...my advice would be to get a 4x8 trailer from Harbor freight build the weekender or square type box, put a fantastic fan (brand) init and use that until such time as you can finish or build for real...with your lack of skills and just now starting you would be hard pressed to finish it this year...not trying to give ya a hard time just trying to be realistic...

Sounds to me that what you need is something like this. This is a big one but they do come in a 4'x6' size.

Have a good day.

Now that would be bad for the dogs. No ventilation and no insulation.
