YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME Gathering February12-15, 2016
Please come join the Southern Ontario Chapter in our cabin fever gathering at beautiful Pinery Provincial Park near Grand Bend, Ontario ;applause; . We promise NO BUGS or RAIN. The beaches at this time of year are almost deserted! ;laugh; Activities include snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The Pinery has several yurts available for those who have their trailers in storage and for the fair weather campers the Oakwood Inn and resort is only 10 minutes away.
WHERE: Pinery Provincial Park, Grand Bend, Ontario
Only 1 campground in the park is open in the winter so pick sites close to bathrooms and showers.
WHEN: February 12-15, 2016 (Family Day weekend)
WHO: Anybody who is crazy or brave enough
Sites are available to be reserved now at http://www.ontarioparks.com/
This is the first of 4 gatherings the Southern Ontario Chapter is having so lets get the fun started!

Point Farms Provincial Park
May 27-29 (Memorial Day weekend)

Directions/ Address: point farms is located on Bluewater Highway (21) 7 km north of Goderich Located on the eastern shore of Lake Huron

Sites: 136 to 145 in the Colborne loop (close by are Wheel Chair Accessible 153 & 152 non-electric sites 147,149,151)
Friday evening: Tiki party meet & greet come join us for some tropical fun where a bright colored Hawaiian shirt, a grass skirt or decorate your campsite. Hawaiian Lei will be provided. Bring your favorite snacks & beverage for some good ol’ hula fun.
Saturday morning Breakfast: in the morning
Saturday evening: Pot luck dinner 6pm with a Hawaiian game & fire to follow.
Sunday morning: Smorgasbord of leftovers & good byes

Come join us for our Sababa Chagiga!
Your first challenge is to figure out what it is! Then bring whatever you think will go with this theme. We're sure to have a great time in a beautiful park that boasts a nice beach and hiking right on site. We'll gather around site 929.
