Fabrics for the ladies....

Postby doug hodder » Thu Apr 04, 2013 4:10 pm

The latest trailer type fabric is out by Moda, just hit stores in the last 2 weeks. I'd imagine it will go fast as I've sold out on the feature fabric in 2 days. It's called "glamping". Lots of retro type trailers, unfortunately, it's way feminine in colors and script on it. Probably not going to work on a "guys" trailer, but would be perfect for a ladies rig. Here's a link...go to fabrics/ then search glamping. Doug

Thanks for the heads up, Doug. I will put it out there on the glamping facebook group if Kay hasn't already by the time I get a chance to.

Oh how delightfully retro! A lot of those fabrics would also look great in a retro kitchen theme (mine isn't, but I do have a working late 1950's, aquamarine stand mixer with original bowls---it's sits on the kitchen counter, I just love it)!

I have the "Glamping with Mary Jane" book. A lot of fun, especially if you want to "girly up or city style" your camping experience. Don't think Bob would appreciate the TD being too "girly", unless it had something to do with Varga girls or Betty Page.

Hey Doug. This topic right up my ally with what I was thinking today. I would like to get some fabric with camping, Coleman and motorcycle themes to line the casket I will start building for me in a year or so. No, really

aren't taking up enough of my time already.....
you have triggered my fabric addiction! But fabric addiction is fun and can be productive, unlike the two pastimes referenced above, which are fun but do nothing to contribute to the gross national product.

which reminds me, has anyone wall papered the interior (sides or ceiling) of their tear?
