Slow, this is fishing related. I heard on the radio today that an older couple was fishing in an area that they were unfamiliar with. While fishing the wife got hooked with a lure. Her husband drove her to the hospital with the lure still hooked in her chin. The husband went to park the boat and truck after dropping his wife off at the emergency entrance. She was very embarrassed to walk in with a lure hanging from her chin. The emergency room attendant asked her what happened. She said her husband would not cut the lure to remove it because he did not want to ruin his favorite lure. So he made her drive to the hospital to have it removed.

I suggest this husband sleep with one eye open at all times!!!

I like to night fish for catfish in the Carson River outside of Dayton, NV, nice spots to camp under huge cottonwoods, Lake Lahontan is nearby and with Nevada seniors sticker it is free for me to camp/fish all season, I love to fish for walleye, striped bass, crappie, catfish there as well, there are restrooms, showers, even a dump station and dumpsters. People always ask questions about whatever vintage trailer I bring with me.

Thank you Slow, Trout is my specialty. I usually fish in the Eastern Sierra but have not gone for a couple of years.
I think it is time I get back on the mountain.
I neet to teach my grandson to fish. I am a bad grandma not to have taught him yet. The last time we tried we had the dog with us and he was around 6 or 7 :? . Did not go well between him the dog and the thunderstorm that came up.

The first teardrop I built I could hook my 16ft fiberglass boat with 75hp motor behind my teardrop. So I did a double pull with my truck. I would go to lakes 3 hours from my home doing this. The man running the camp ground said I've seen boats like that I've teardrops before but I've ever seen a boat hooked to the back of a teardrop and towed like that. He thought that was pretty cool. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. So yes I've done that and the teardrop I'm building now will be able to do it also. Be careful if you try this tongue weights need to be done differently .
