Prayer for Moore, OK and OK City

Postby Todah Tear » Mon May 20, 2013 5:46 pm

A tornado hit Moore, OK and OK City and was on the ground for 45 minutes. Many homes and many schools were destroyed. Blessfully, they have accounted for all of the children in 2 schools. There are other schools where a headcount is not known.

Please join me in prayer that there will be many survivors found if people were in those structures. :worship: Also, pray for fellow Teardroppers and other that are in that area.

The magnitude of the destruction is terrifying. Many, many thoughts for wellbeing and safety headed their way.

It is a sad day. My heart and prayers are with the families involved.

I am so worried about OK. Jewell and her husband Kenny. If anyone hears anything or gets through to her, please post it. So many friends and even family are there.
So bad, keep praying.

Yes, I wondered about Julie as well.

Here is a touching video of a victam's answered prayer (Watch the video at the bottom of page, the last video with the dog.)

I am also worried about OK. Phil. He was going home Monday and I am afraid he might have got into all that. Phil, let us hear something.
I worry about my extended family.

Can't watch that again, or I'll start crying (again). Such a sweet reunion with her little dog. Can't help but think this elderly woman was interviewed fairly soon after the tornado had passed and she seemed very grounded, accepting of what had happened, and not in shock, but the interviewer sounded very young and a wee bit clueless.
