Newby: Just picked up my "donor"

Postby pitbullluvajrod » Sun May 26, 2013 8:53 pm

Hello everyone, how are y'all doing on this fine evening? Well I am gonna get right to it.. I am extremely excited and happy to announce that I found and pulled my "doner" camper home :R . I located a sad looking pop-up in a high weed filled pasture. I figured it was just as bad inside and that's why the price was so cheap. After changing the flat tire and strapping the top down, off we went. My friend Mike pulled it with his truck while I followed. To my amazement, all the lights worked. Once in the driveway, we lifted the top, the interior is complete. Sink, pump faucet, holding tank, fridge.. I mean COMPLETE. Can't wait to rip into it  . As I said, I am one seriously happy newb..

Hi Jerry
Welcome to the Forum!
I will eagerly watch for you pictures of your salvage and rebuild.
As I too have a 7' pop up (tent trailer) with all of the same components that could be used in a future build, that is if Sandi lets me build another one.
Miss Piggy took a lot out of us!

Thank you, Vedette. I'm new to all this tech stuff, tryin to figure out the digital cam to laptop transfer. Might have to call one of the kids in on this  . I'm more of a garage monkey, not a tech guy. I'll get it figured out... :? Lol you shoulda saw the girls face today when I picked up the camera. Asked if they still develop 35mm film, she said.." what's that "? As soon as I get this part figured out, you can bet I'll be posting demo and build pics. Til then, y'all stay safe and keep em tween the lines.

If your camera has an SD card, just plug it into the laptop and follow the instructions to load your pictures, give them an easy for you album name and delete them from card when finished unless you want to keep them for another download ie another computer.
