Handy Stuff From a Chalet LTW Owner

Stumbled across this Web page from a Chalet LTW owner with some modifications and products translatable to teardrops. Chalet's are A-framed folding trailers and the Chalet LTW model is certifiably tiny!

I have a Chalet Alpine that I bought used in August. I'm liking it so far. I do need to find some child lock things to keep the drawers closed. They come open on curvy roads. I was nervous while camping in some windy, stormy weather but the trailer had no problems. In the wet climate of the northern Oregon Coast, condensation can build up in the peak of the pointy roof and it will rain a tiny bit inside. This was only a problem in the morning. The weird thing is, you can see daylight coming through where the sides meet the peak, but no rain gets in. I carry boards to level it. One of those plastic gray water containers came with it, but the container has no handle, which makes it hard to pack to a place to dump it.

I use the yellow balls on antennae as a guide to hitch up, except two logger/truck drivers made fun of them. I call the yellow balls, The Balls Of Inaccuracy. Where I park the Pointy Trailer for unloading and loading, it is on a sidways slant so the ball on the pickup is at an angle. Oh well.

Thanks for thinking of us! There are some good ideas in that list!

On the plus side, I especially like the awning ideas.

On the less than plus side, I had purchased and used the folding, vented gray water tank. I had trouble getting it to vent; but that wasn't a biggie. However, the tank is somewhat see-through and I had a lady ask me if the water in that tank was potty water! (It did look pretty ugly. The water in the campground was from the river and had a natural brown tone to it.) I don't use that one anymore....
