Just like you would bookmark any other web page.

What works for me is to paste the thread addresses into a single Word document and save the document. Easier to organize and add text and notes to that rather than clog up your web bookmarks with the umpteen threads that you'd like to refer back to.

I know we all like pictures so here we go. I assumed you use Internet Explorer in these pictures. If not then this might not do any good.

1. Click add to favorites

2. In the box that opens, type something that will help you remember the thread topic, then click add.

3. When you visit your bookmarks (called favorites in Internet Explorer) you can see the thread now. Notice I have several where I left the text default, you can't see what the thread topic is unless you hover your mouse over it because the text is wider than the left pane window.

 Click on Bookmarks and make a teardrops folder. I have several. One is titled "Teardrops with bunk beds."

Be sure when you do this to rename before you save or you will have a bunch of bookmarks that say: "Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers:: view topic.........." :(

I do something similar, only instead of pasting thread addresses to Word I send myself emails. I use the name of my trailer-to-be as subject and a descriptor, e.g. "On hitches", followed by the link. Then I can use the email search function to find them. :D

Thanks, that was easy. Now if I can remember what threads I thought would be of use in the future.

It is possible to bookmark a page using your browser (as detailed above) or using this forum's clever software

At the bottom of each page/thread on the left hand side is a link bookmark topic you can also subscribe topic, I think you get email notifications if you subscribe depending on your setup.
If you bookmark a page it is kept in this forum only rather than your web browser. I use different browsers on different computers: home and work (yes I know I should be working.... :o .) and so I don't always have this information at hand.
I've started bookmarking pages using the forums' bookmarking system and I can now find them really easily.

To visit the bookmark page when logged in on this forum: go to user control panel on the overviews page (startup for me) click on a tab for manage bookmarks.

It's another option.....

There is a good post about the differences http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=48767

GrantStew8,

I don't think many people use that feature, but it's definitely a nice way to make bookmarks follow you, irregardless of which computer you are on!

I keep my TTT notes in a Libre Office document, and cut-n-paste the URLs into it. I'll also cut-n-paste any information I think is needed into it. URLs have a tendency to go dead over time.
