Pictures please.

Not 100/ct sure, but I am pretty sure that there are reg's against mounting propane bottles inside of any sealed enclosure. The commercial covers that I have seen are just decorative and have open bottoms and/or backs. Not sure if this applies to the little 1 lb bottles, but still a good idea.

I think if there is a problem or leak they'd rather have it dissipate, have a chance of it just being a fire, whereas if the gas is allowed to accumulate in a confined space and it gets lit.... Kaboom! :cigar:

My experience is that rain tends to decline to fall straight down and a rain cap over doors would tend to be ineffective. We have tarps on the side that work well.
We do have a rubber roofing section/strip over the galley hinge but only the rear tarp really prevents water getting into the galley.

Without question I agree with KC about the propane.

You have two problems; with rain and or driving. Consider the door seal
and how it closes. When driving the leading edge can be a water trap.
When parked its possible a drip cap will help with a window and door.

Thanks for asking...

I haven't decided for myself yet. I'm watching these answers closely.

Agree with that...in my unique situation, the doors are flush with the sides, with no external lip, and compression sealed with a truck door seal; I foresaw both wind-driven and highway speed-driven rain being forced into the door inlet by surface tension of the water on the trailer walls. To break that up, I fabricated 1.125" x 1.125" aluminum angle as a deflector in front of and over the door openings. I also have enclosed trailer vents above the doors, with inner rainshields, that will drain directly over the doors (necessitating an angled rain deflector in that position). I hope the 1.125" sticking out from the wall will be enough to do the job, but l haven't tested it yet. The deflectors are screwed to the wall and OSI Quad used as a sealant /adhesive. 107793108386 And, as for the window drip caps, I couldn't beat those I got from 'Lil Bear.107292
